One of the can't-miss events of the year, Art in Bloom is prepared to return for a five-day celebration of art, flowers and community at the North Carolina Museum of Art (and tickets are going to go fast!).

From March 13-17, more than 40 unique floral arrangements—some standing 10 feet tall—will be created on-site by world-class designers and florists and showcased throughout the museum's West Building.

More than 130,000 visitors have attended the event since its inception in 2015. PNC Bank is once again the sponsor of Art in Bloom.

The special event offers visitors a way to connect with art through floral interpretations of the museum's latest acquisitions and visitor-favorite works from the newly reimagined People's Collection.

In honor of Art in Bloom's 10th anniversary, the event will showcase 10 large-scale installations—in addition to more than 40 other floral displays—portraying each decade from the 1920s to the 2020s, thus the theme of this year's festival: The Decade Show.

The event includes expanded Art in Bloom-themed food options—Art of Tea in Bloom (separately ticketed), offering sandwiches, tea, coffee and floral-inspired cocktails in the museum's East Building; a garden grill menu available in the West Building (first-come, first-served); a gelato and popcorn cart outside in the museum's Gipson Plaza; and a special chef's table dinner taking place March 8 (also ticketed separately).

Additional floral demonstrations, workshops and artist-led events will take place throughout the week—all ticketed separately and likely to sell out quickly.

The museum's gift shop will be open with limited edition Art in Bloom merchandise for sale, as well.
